A home in Dunwoody North

Dunwoody North is a sub-division in the city of Dunwoody, located at the top east end of I-285 just North East of Atlanta in Dekalb County.

Dunwoody has it all, great schools, low crime, a wooded suburban setting with large lots, and close proximity to all the City of Atlanta has to offer.  The top end perimeter of I-285 has also become the cornerstone of Atlanta's high tech job market as well as being at the cross roads of major through roads, interstates & public transportation.

The Dunwoody North Communities are comprised of approximately 1,100 homes contained within the subdivision known as Dunwoody North, as well as the homes in the adjacent subdivisions of Andover Estates, Laurelwood Farms, Dunwoody Trails, Brafferton Square, Briers North, The Madisons, and Chestnut Landing.  The area encompasses North Peachtree Road, the Dunwoody Side of Peachtree Industrial and both sides of Tilly Mill Road.

The community boasts a very active swim / tennis association separate from the DNCA. The Dunwoody North Driving Club offers four brand new lighted tennis courts, a resurfaced 25m swimming pool with a diving well and high dive and a children's playground.

The Dunwoody North Civic Association (DNCA) represents the Dunwoody North Communities in city, county, and state issues concerning the neighborhoods.   The DNCA also assists the residents to protect and enhance the value of their property. The DNCA Board meets regularly to share information, thoughts and ideas, and then shares them with the entire community and City Government.

The Civic Association has built a strong relationship over the years with city, county and the state government.  That relationship has been instrumental in gathering support to fight detrimental development and secure development that enhances the area.  In addition, the DNCA has a reciprocal relationship with the Dunwoody Homeowner's Association and other nearby homeowner groups to assist and support each other.

Please support the DNCA by completing the on-line registration or filling out a printed registration form available here and paying your annual dues of just $20.00 which will include a copy of the membership directory when it is printed.
