Good Monday Morning, Neighbors!
And just like that, Spring has sprung in our little corner of the world! While the "official" Spring Equinox doesn't arrive until Friday, March 20 at 10:45 a.m. EDT, there is certainly nothing wrong with getting a head start on the season.
The DNCA is excited to announce that we will release a newly formatted newsletter on April 1, 2026. This debut issue will spotlight essential tips for spring gardening and home maintenance. I have already seen the drafts put together by our editor, Jessica Craig, and I am incredibly impressed with the new look - I can’t wait for you to see it!
Save the Date: Annual Meeting
The DNCA Board is currently planning our Annual Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. We will host a timely panel of experts, including a professional landscape designer, to share advice on protecting and enhancing your property. Please mark your calendars; this is a wonderful opportunity to mingle with your neighbors and gather inspiration for your spring garden planning.
Get Involved: We Need You!
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to serve the DNCA in the following capacities:
- Graduation Banner: Ideally, we’re looking for a parent of a graduating senior to lead this.
- Board Positions: We are seeking candidates for Open Board positions, including Secretary and Technology.
- Special Projects: We need assistance planning our "pet" projects, such as the Christmas Trolley Ride, Christmas mailbox decorations, and the “Take Back the Night” block party (or any other project you’d like to spearhead!).
If you are interested in any of these roles, please reach out to me or Vice President Chris Henderson.
A Friendly Reminder on Dues
Finally, please don’t forget to pay your annual dues. These funds allow us to provide the graduation banner and support all other DNCA projects.
Please Note: Dues must be current for your child to be included on the graduation banner or for a resident to serve on the DNCA Board. Click here to pay your annual dues.
Thank you to all our members for being such a vital part of this community. We are honored to serve our little corner of the world.
Have a great week!
Kathy Adams-Carter, DNCA President
