On Monday, December 12, 2012, the Dunwoody North Civic Association sponsored a holiday dinner for the crew at Fire Station 18. The meal was catered by Serendipity catering. Chef Louie has been catering this event for about 5 years. We order enough food so that other shifts can also have a holiday meal. The desserts were provided for by some of the Board members of the Dunwoody North Civic Association.
While we were there, two of the crew had to leave for a call and the other guys showed us their Hazmat truck as well as their other equipment. Anyone can ride on the truck or go up in the bucket if they sign a release.
